Jacob Chan's work is mainly a combination of wheel thrown and hand built Chinese based vessels decorated heavily in slips, oxides and other raw materials. For the Create Art 4 Hope Campaign Jacob has donated a ink and bleach drawing.

Jacob is a Wirral based Artist who graduated in Ceramics with a 1st Class BA Hons degree from Carmarthen School of Art in 2017. Studying as an apprentice to international ceramicist Emma Rodgers, he has continued his practice and taken part as a contestant on Channel 4’s ‘The Great Pottery Throw Down’.

Born to an English mother and Chinese father, his cultural heritage has greatly influenced his current works which feature an incorporation of wheel thrown ceramics with figurative forms.
